I enjoyed the meeting today with young mothers and Alicia (midwife) - talking about homeopathy and watching the children interact! It was helpful to have 3 two year olds to explain how different the personalities of kids can be and how they can need different remedies. Alicia's girls with their red hair like their mom are just lovely to watch. hope to hear from some of them.

Katrina, of my three rescued cats, she is the hunter and most friendly.
She likes to drink from the dripping faucet; she sits on my lap when
i'm at the computer; she talks.
tomorrow I am speaking to a few young mothers and midwives
about homeopathy, my mind is on preparation - i'm not here.

Ash Wednesday yesterday and while chopping celery to add to the soup pot, I decided that I'd give up fussing at John (about smoking! about picayune details). Enjoyed the morning with Darla, Cynthia and Kim - cooking and chatting and then chatting and eating with three delightful women in Floyd (we brought them soup and company - they gave us cake and ice cream and wisdom!)

happy MARDI GRAS!!!!
this morning with Pearl and family; able to download me as cow. making a note this morning that i wanted to talk about the octogenarian peace troops. maybe with puppet heads, maybe not. but the idea i thought was to distract armed conflict with the absurd. Forcing people to stop and to reassess, forcing mindfulness??? it's probably been done. probably
octogenarian, is just my term for older folk who don't want to hide in "retirement" communities.

Mary North embodies the word "healer" with every deed and word. She takes the time to truly sit with me, to listen deeply, and to ask the right questions to uncover what I most need to move toward healing. She has proven an excellent care provider for me, my partner, and all three of our young children. Time with Mary is healing in it's own right, and I always leave our sessions feeling more grounded and more relaxed than when I arrived. Mary possesses the ability to care for and nurture the whole person--body, mind, and spirit--and her gentleness and kindness help people of any age feel comfortable working with her. She has impacted our family's well-being and quality of life in a tremendously positive way. Thank you, Mary!
